The Douglas County Chamber Singers

Weekly rehearsals are held every Tuesday at 7:30 pm Dress rehearsals are scheduled for Nov 19 at 9:30 am; Dec 6th at 7:00 pm; March 27th at 7:00 pm

Annual Dues, in the amount of $75, cover music and administrative costs. Members pay dues at the first rehearsal for each season. Make checks payable to Douglas County Chamber Singers.

Music is issued at the first rehearsal of each season. Members are responsible for the music and must return all music at the end of each concert. Payment for lost music is based on music replacement cost.

Rehearsals are held on Tuesday nights from 7:30 - 9:30 pm at First United Methodist Church in Douglasville, GA.

Attendance is recorded at rehearsals and concerts. Be sure to let Andrea Tingen know if you will not be able to attend a rehearsal. You may not be allowed to sing in an upcoming concert if you miss more than three rehearsals prior to a concert. Please make every effort to be in place, ready to rehearse, 10 minutes before the scheduled rehearsal time.

Dress Rehearsals are held at 7:00 pm on the Monday night before the Winter and Spring concerts. You do not need to wear concert attire at dress rehearsals.

Concert Attire: Women wear solid black, floor length gowns of their own choosing.  Sleeveless, strapless, spaghetti strapped, low cut front or back, etc. gowns are not appropriate. Men wear a black tuxedo with white shirt. Both women and men wear black shoes. Wedding rings and watches are acceptable jewelry. Please refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, aftershaves, scented deodorants or hairsprays.
